Graph-based and Bayesian approaches to semi-supervised learning

I will review the work on graph-based approaches to semi-supervised
learning done in collaboration with Xiaojin Zhu and John Lafferty,
placing it in the context of some of the related work in the
literature. I will then step back and try to bring up the issue of
whether we have a coherent probabilistic framework for semi-supervised
learning, and whether a Bayesian approach can and should be taken to
this problem.
